Designed Objects

I am primarily concerned with how objects mediate relationships, whether it's the relationships between the user and the object, multiple users, or the user to themselves. I find that the most fruitful way for me to approach this arena is through consideration of the stories embedded in objects and the narratives that their use creates or implies. I am also fascinated by the ideas of value and worth, and how incredibly fluid those concepts are in the modern world. My design work is characterized by simplicity of function and form, clarity of material and the clever use of non-obvious detail to create interest or meaning for the user. Please enjoy!
